Specifically a violation, not a misdemeanor or a felony, but a civil citation? Need this because facing a similar charge in SC to find out what my course of action should be.

Yes, if you were convicted, it's on your record, no matter what state you're in. You have to pay up.

BTW, North Carolina has decriminalization laws in place for Pot, but the illegal substances act overrides them (Federal v. State law) so if the illegal substances act is ever overturned, then you might be allowed to have it in NC, but SC may ban it.

When are they going to wake up ? and get that marijuana is a natural product and you cant make laws against nature. Given God created it all, it therefore follows:- if its all part of the naturally created then how can this be against the law unless they are arrogant blasphemers.
