Yes you are. The Wii is quite fun, and is much cheaper than the PS3 (or Xbox 360).

As it stands right now, the Xbox 360 is the best console on the market. It has the speed, graphics, and a boatload of great games.

If you're paying any attention to the gaming media, you'll see that the PS3 isn't faring too well in it's popularity. Quite a bit of that is due to Sony's own fault. They make an outlandishly priced console, and then make several arrogant public statements about how it's so great that people need to just work overtime to buy one.

Just for this fact, I have no intentions of supporting the PS3....yet I proudly own an Xbox 360 and a Nintendo Wii. This is the first Sony console I didn't buy at launch.

Trying to keep it simple, but hardware cannot be measured equally against another type of hardware, unless it's the exact same model. A lot of the PS3 and 360 hardware are a lot closer than they look.

As well as that, a lot of the things written down there are completely wrong if not outright lies the WiFi, price and backwards compatibility for example. The PS3 is being released for £549.99, not £399.99 and the HD Disc player for the PS3 hasn't been given a price yet.

The Wii is a lot cheaper and in it's own way, more fun. The XBox 360 is good for online games, more than anything and actually has about the same amount of power as a PS3 in reality. On playing a PS3 as well (a Japanese one), I wasn't really impressed since it looked like a game for the PS2.

You're missing a lot of reasons why the ps3 may be better considering its hardware but in reality, the hardware is its greatest downfall. Consider this: the synergistic processor on the ps3 is so "advanced" (in other words too complicated) many developers are refusing to make games for it. The blu-ray disc while being one of the new formats for HD movies and games has driven up the cost of the ps3. Not to mention it is only competing for the rights to the format. Is there a game on the system right now that is worth buying? Check the sales numbers on the ps3. After a month Sony had only sold around 80,000 units of the 400,000 shipped and many just wanted to resell them and make a profit. More importantly look at Sony's track record with everything they make. Go to Sony's website and check the price of their computers. All are considerably overpriced for the same hardware you could get on a computer which is 20%-40% cheaper. Look at their televisions. The same is true of the prices. You have been brainwashed because Sony is the most recognized electronics brand and I think people will finally begin to realize Sony has lined its pockets with your money for far too long. You are paying exorbitant amounts for a brand name that is poorly engineered and built even worse. Everyone seems to forget the millions of ps2's that had their lasers go out on them. I own one of those and now if you want to have it repaired it is much easier and probably cheaper just to purchase a new one. So no the ps3 is not better in any category in my opinion other than sucking. Sony has really messed up this time.

yes ps3 is better but the ps3 disks are ever so slightly more expensive and break easily...then again the new blue-ray disks used in ps3 hold alot mro edata and the next gen inventions.
the ps3 plays all playstation games and playstation has been out longer then any xbox so there is a wider range. the xbox has alot of things highly compatible with it like sound systems but the ps3 still rules....the ps3 has a built in screen..the xbox needs a tv on yoru back to be portable....lol i actually hear that the ps3 will play nintendo games too but that might be a myth the ps3 is supposed to be at a release price of £50 more than xbox 360 but ist worth it

the wii is cool but the hand straps break easily and a trial is in process attempting to sew the nintendo corp. for millions and attempting to take wii off the market as it is.....meaning no more fixages or spares.

Because it is highly priced very unpopular and does not have many good games, yet.
The xbox 360 has a few good games like kameo and gears of war and call of duty 3 but the wii is the best out of the next gen trio because it has graphics capacity, can surf the net, well not yet but they are working on it as we speak. it has a revolutionary style of play for all games. and has a launch lineup of over 15 titles which is better than xbox 360s and ps3s launch lineup

Xbox 360s have been out longer than the other two and have a ton of games, while the wii has a revolutionary controller and gets you into the action. It all depends on what you like.
