Who cares if he was gay, with all the women he chased around I highly doubt it. The man made good soul/funk music period.
A lot of talented artists are gay and make awesome music. But in this case... I doubt if James was gay.

I don't think so. In fact he was married 4 times and also had a reputation as a womanizer (believe it or not). I think he also had 4 children. No, he wasn't gay!

I heard the same thing about him being a womanizer .He was always someone I watched and LOVE his music. I followed him what a voice and what a performer but I never heard about him being with anything other then WOMEN...plural...just flamboyant , I believe???

what does it matter? I could care less I doubt anyone who really loved his music and respected and was in awe of his talent does either. and as an aside : ..the guy just died, jeez let him rest for awhile before trying to dirty him up with innuendo.
