I find it amazing that they would. America has thoroughly rejected them and relegated them to status of a "right wing fringe group".

sorry my ideology is conservatism, meaning I believe in smaller government less taxes and less government in my life. I'm not sure what the definition of a neocon is. But if you mean the present day republican party no I ain't one of those. But I don't think or I mean I KNOW the current far left liberals who run the Democrat party of pansy azzed politicians who only have their personal best interests at heart are just as bad for America. I am ashamed of what both parties have turned into. But that is our fault. You think your parties poop don't stink as much as the republicans? lol then you are not based in reality. The American public needs to wake up! the politicians of today only cater to the lobbyists with the most money on both sides of the isle. And sadly most of these groups are against the american values that made this country great and sustained us for over 200 years. Funny how both sides agree on what they think is inoprtant. Like giving themselves pay raises 8 times in the recient past lol and working less hours then ever before in history. The whole system needs fixing or we will be dire straights sooner then we think.

Republicans lost the senate by one seat, I would hardly call that a land slide for the demos. They lost the house by half the margin by which the democrats lost it in 1994. The pendulum swing back and forth it. The repubs might have suffered a set back but they are not gone extinct. Don't get your hopes up there. Besides the democrats did not exactly win, according to Ayman al Zawahiri (Osama side kick) , islam did:
Here is what he had to say:
Al Qaeda has sent a message to leaders of the Democratic party that credit for the defeat of congressional Republicans belongs to the terrorists.

In a portion of the tape from al Qaeda No. 2 man, Ayman al Zawahri, made available only today, Zawahri says he has two messages for American Democrats.

“The first is that you aren’t the ones who won the midterm elections, nor are the Republicans the ones who lost. Rather, the Mujahideen — the Muslim Ummah’s vanguard in Afghanistan and Iraq — are the ones who won, and the American forces and their Crusader allies are the ones who lost,” Zawahri said, according to a full transcript obtained by ABC News.

“And if you don’t refrain from the foolish American policy of backing Israel, occupying the lands of Islam and stealing the treasures of the Muslims, then await the same fate,” he said.

I don't know why people use the term "neocons." They're Republicans. There is no difference on any policy issue between these so-called "neocons" and mainstream Republicans.

Oh I'm sure they THINK they're relevant but they've done enough damage to this country and the world and they've always been a "right wing fringe group".

We will see in '08. By then your Democrats will have had a chance to put up or shut up. Hey, I personally hope the new congress does turn things around and helps heal this country.

No, they know they are not. That is why you see all kinds of hatred in their questions and answers. If they keep it up though, the Libertarians will become the #2 party while the Republicans will fall in the polls even below the Communist party.

That would explain all these attempts by them to turn Yanswers into a joke, like the message boards became.

Americans need to reject status quo and start electing independents.

Sure and leftist wackos are relevent. It seems to me that the far right and the far left are a bunch of wackos. Don't you agree?

Yes, because liberals still are relevant even though they can't win the presidency with the likes of Gore and Kerry.
