Before, when I was backing up my dvd's my drive would encode at a rate of 4,000 to 5,000 KB's/sec, and now for some reason it will only go about 1,000 KB's/sec. (my comp. seems to fight me while it is happening also) I defragment my comp. and run a disk clean up weekly, how can i get my drive to run like it used to?

Is it set for Ultra Dma mode, or did it revert back, to pio mode because of some bad burns?
