OK, first, you have to share your files on LimeWire if not already shared. Then, go to my computer, select your (C:) drive, go to Documents and Settings, go to Owner, then open up the Shared folder. There should be all of your files from LimeWire. Now, open up iTunes, then drag and drop the files you want on iTunes.(These will not effect LimeWire files at all). All you have to do now is sync to iPod! Hope this helps!

Yes, you need to import the files into itunes. Go to itunes help and type in import files (you should be able to set your preferences in limewire--try help--to automatically import into itunes). Once there, plug in your ipod with your USB. Your ipod icon will pop up on the left. Drag and drop the songs you want onto your ipod icon and they will copy.
Happy holidays!

If all your mp3 files are in one folder you can go to itunes. file inport folder (i'm not 100% sure of what the exact name of it is but it look for something that sound like that, Pc i'm working on doesn't have itunes) Then import the entire folder it should work.
