I have had this experience. I was in a Goodwill store and found a "skinny mirror". This is a mirror that a lot of retail stores use to make you look thinner in their clothing so that you will buy more, because they make you look so good! Another factor is lighting. Many places dim the lights at the cosmetic counter, because most people look better in dim light. Or they will bring up the lighting to make it overly bright (like at the jewelry counter so the gems appear more sparkly than they will in natural light.) It is all tricks of the trade. I almost bought the skinny mirror, but alas, it wasn't for sale...boo hoo! Happy New Year. Nana

Yeah when I tilt my body-length mirror a certain way, i will look tall & thin, while when I turn it another way (just slightly!) I will look short and plump.
What am I for real?
Right inbetween...cept im not fat...
