You are 8 months. Pregnancy is technically 10 months long, (40 weeks) because they count it from the first day of your last period, not from when you actually conceived. To avoid confusing people, just tell them how many weeks along you are, or how many weeks you have left. Often, people who don't have children don't understand the 40 week description.

You are 8 months. What the majority of people do not consider is that a pregnancy is actually 10 months (40 weeks) instead of 9 months which is the typical thought.

I am due February 18th and I am currently 32 weeks pregnant. Which equals out to 8 months. same as you. Dont worry about people being confused. its too hard to go into detail about the way pregnancy is calculated. 40 weeks is actually 10 months but you cant really count the first two weeks immediately following your period because you are not really "pregnant" yet. It is routinely calculated by adding two weeks to the date your last menstrual period started plus an additional nine months, or by adding 280 days to the first day of your last menstrual cycle.
A pregnancy generally lasts for 40 weeks from first day of your last menstrual period, or 38 weeks from conception.

As of today, 12/26, you are 32 weeks pregnant which means you are eight months pregnant. People get confused because pregnancy actually is 40 weeks, ten months, not nine which most people think.

you are in your 8th month, but not 8 months if that makes sense. working on every 3 months has 13 weeks (not 12) it puts you at about 7 and a half, which is in your 8th

you are 8 lunar months pregnant and around 7 calender months that was one of the first questions i asked my ob because most months have more than 4 weeks so you are 32 weeks or 8 lunar months or 7 calender months congradulations

Go by weeks, it's SO much easier!!! I'm 37 weeks and that's what everyone knows. I don't try to get into how many months because they think I don't know what I'm talking about. So for your next pregnancy, go by weeks instead!!!

u are 8 months..they give u 40 weeks which equals to 10 months almost..people get confused when i tell them too ..so dont wory about it as long as u know..good luck
