Big Audio Dynamite II did a song called "Rush" for their 1992 album "The Globe." I'm pretty sure you're refering to some other band, but still, here's an example of someone doing a song called "Rush."

Paula Abdul. She did too. In the early 90's. Video was her and Keanu Reeves and had a Rebel Without a Cause theme, actually a good video. Ok, it was called "Rush, Rush" but close enough gosh darnit.
