i just bought it today, and it won't turn on. i've tried both using a battery and using the adapter, and it still won't work. what could be wrong? its a lyon wah pedal...

This is going to sound stupid, but stay with me - I had the same problem....
I had a Dunlop wah that I didn't know how to use. Turns out I just wasn't stepping hard enough on it to engage the pedal.
First, find the on/off. It should be under the rocker pedal; then, click it manually with your fingers (don't get pinched!) to confirm that the pedal works.
If it lights up/works when rocked, then make sure you are correctly engaging the pedal with your foot. If none of this works.......then take it back.
