Yes that is pretty silly but then the person is obviously trying to ex cert their individuality or to show that they really like this hat.

I think its perfectly ok to wear hats around in your house. I wouldn't suggest you wear a (toque) or whatever you said. Anyways it depends on your style.

Each to his own, I always say. When I was younger, when a man walked into the house, church or a restaurant, he took his hat off. Some still do.

A rope thingie? What I think looks really gay are those hats with the ear flaps with lamb's wool on them.

i think it's okay to wear a sports team cap in your house when it's a day of their game, but other than that, it's pretty weird to wear a hat in your own house.

No, not at all. Is how you feel, not how they look at you. It takes some unique feeling to be able to wear a hat, that not everybody has. Be proud, be confident, and you will always look great to others.
