if you dont know much about investing, i would really reccommend starting in mutual funds, or even etf's, you wont have enough money to diversify well in single stocks, in a fund you can let it grow and let a professional pick the stocks for you

you can do that while you learn about the stock market

try not to think of the stock market as a get rich quick scheme, invest in a stock fund and do it regularly, the easiest way to get wealthy, just not fast
