I would check when the classes are available. See what dates are available. You don't want to wait and then you end up missing half the classes because you deliver baby! I started mine right about 20 weeks and they ended my 26 week, but the next class available ended 1 week after my due date, so I thought that was too close and when I got there (scared I might be the least farthest along) there were some women in their 1st trimester still, so it depends what works for you!

Right around the start of your third trimester seems to be a good time. This should make sure that you complete it in time before you give birth, but that you don't forget too much after the class is over.

It depends some on what is offered in your area and how long the classes last. Some are only one or two meetings and some are a two month series of classes! So best to call around and find out info about the specific classes near you soon. I highly recommend taking classes from an independent childbirth educator instead of from the hospital. This way you'll learn how to be a good consumer and not a good patient.

I would take them as soon as you can now. Doctors recommend taking them in your second trimester. I signed up for a class when I was 30 weeks pregnant, it was to be in another three weeks. I was in the hospital in labor when the class was supposed to be. So I would recommend to take them sooner rather then later. You never know if you will have a premature birth or even just a few weeks early.

The majority of doctors/hospitals are all different in when to start childbirth classes. Most of the time around the 27th week is the ideal time to start, but you should check w/your doctor and/or hospital to see what they suggest.

It depends whether you use Lamaze or Bradley method or something else. They start classes at different times. With the Bradley method, you should have already started classes. I used the Bradley method, and it really works. I have had four births with no pain medication. I have had hunger pains before that were worse than labor. The classes start early because a lot of people have a lot of misconceptions that need to be reprogrammed in their thinking. I know I did. They also talk about prenatal care and diet, and breastfeeding.

it somewhat is humorous which you ask this question. I in basic terms have been given off the telephone to schedule my training lol. For you beginning on the top of March would be in basic terms nice considering you're in basic terms having one toddler. i'm having twins as you already know so i'm going to likely furnish some month early (i'm due June10th and that i'm 24 weeks 4 days immediately). we are beginning training next week on March third and we bypass as quickly as a week for 7 weeks. They reported there will be 5 lamaze training and 2 childcare training on the top. So we are able to wind up mid April and that i'll probably bypass mid would. The coordinator reported to no longer wait till the subsequent one to sign up by using fact it may end on the top of would and which would be too late. you're appropriate on course in case you inquire from me so sign in for the training on the top of March. via the way, how lots are your training? Mine are $ninety. thank you and good luck!

you can start looking into it now.

sometimes they schedules the classes really far apart. So depending if you will have time to go to the next one.. but don't let it be too close to your due date.. you need time to do others things like preparing babie's room or just taking time for yourself.. good luck and congrats!

Your last trimester should be a good time to start, but really, its anytime you feel ready to do it.
