Yes you can remove it without using an antivirus, but really you should have an antivirus running in your pc so you don't get future infections. There are many free antivirus out there.
I'm using the free Avast antivirus and it is good.
If you are allowed to post hijackthis log here then we can help you here instead of going to other forums for help.
I know how to analyzed hijackthis logs and spot infections.
If hijackhis is allowed to be posted here that is, then post the log here and we'll analyzed it.
If this is against forum rules, then please excuse my posting and someone please let me know if I've overstep any guidelines.
I'm just new to "yahoo answers".
You can also run other scanners instead, scanners that gives you free trial period like AVG anti-spyware, SuperAntispyware, DrWedCureit, they are very good scanners that can remove it for you.
But my first preference is to look at a hijackthis log.

Yes. You try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no virus or any problems. It may be a few weeks or months back. You have to decide the date. Detailed instructions are posted at http://fixit.in/systemrestore.html
The problem is likely to be solved. Then, if you, need you insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at
http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html

If you are going to connect it to the internet, you really must have a firewall and anti-virus. If you are infected, and your laptop has a CD rom, get yourself some anti virus software, stick the disc in and sort the problem out. There are thousands of viruses out there, do you want to have this problem thousands of times .

Call Microsoft.....
1-866-727-2338
Tell them u want
Ad-Aware6.0
&
cwshredder
They should help you download this. Once they do they will stay on the phone with you until you run them both and that will take care of the Trojan problem.
I have them and they are great. Also totally free for personal use.

have faith me, you may a working laptop or computing device shop and have it get appeared at. the cost could be slightly hefty yet yet it's going to cost much greater to get a clean computing device. and that i'm specific that they're some greater complicated viruses on there that the different concepts won't do away with. you particularly could take it to a working laptop or computing device tech shop and have them verify it out on the least.

Go to Castlecops.com. They will ask you to download HijackThis and send your log to them. Then they will email you back with step by step instructions on how to get rid of anything that shouldn't be there.
