I basically had a meeting with a lactation representative approximately my gassy 7 week previous son. She recommended me to cut back out chocolate, onions, and cabbage. I even have seen a small progression, yet he nonetheless has gas. i know when I do consume the onions and chocolate, I do word extra gassiness however... Dairy could be a reason for gassiness, despite the fact that this is tricky to ward off various those meals. I propose you carry on eating wholesome such as you probably did on your being pregnant foodstuff plan and basically cut back out the glaring issues that reason you to have gas (ie. pretty spiced meals, and so on.). The lactation representative additionally jogged my memory that it's not constantly something that i've got eaten/executed to reason it, that persons (previous and youthful) create their very own gas too. So do no longer subject lots, get excitement from feeding your toddler and ensure you have a good latch so she would not suck in too lots air. Congratulations on your toddler!

I guess I would need more clarification. My son was the same! He would spit up a lot, be very gassy, and would get very fussy and crying after he ate. We trid gas drops but they did not help. At the time we were feeding him powder formula. Our Dr said to switch to the ready made formula becuase it is easier to digest and that would also help with the gas. That did the trick for my little guy! I hope this helps.

My baby had the same symptoms. The doctor said that it was reflux, There is no cure and the gas drops dont work 100% He told us some things that would make it better until he grows out of it.
Burp often, Every 1/2 once to 1 once
Keep you child upright during feeding and for 45 min after
Smaller more frequant meals
All theses were recomended to us by our pediatrician, and they did really help us

My baby had this same problem and the doctor diagnosed her with acid reflux. She would cry a lot after she drank her milk because the acid hurts them. Gas drops dont work because that is not treating the problem. He recommended adding one teaspoon of rice cereal for every 2 ounces of milk to help keep the milk down and also they prescribed zantac. She was a different baby after that. You should ask your doctor first.

The enfamil w/iron is probably too strong for her stomach. I know that programs like WIC will usually only approve that type of formula unless a doctor intervenes for something like Nutramigen. My son had the same type of problems, and I switched to Carnation Good Start. It was much easier on his stomach and no more problems. Good luck.

Very well could be an allergy or protein sensitivity. My little girl had a similar problem and when switched to hypo-allergenic, lactose free formula (Similiac Alimentum or Enfamil Nutramigen) her symptoms subsided within days. I would contact your Dr. before switching formula but by all means do call and ask about it, it may save you MANY sleepless nights :)

Most likely the formula that you are using, try changing it so another brand. You might want to talk to your Doc about it also, your baby could be allergic to the formual and your Doc can help you figure out what type of formula to give her. She may need Soy, then again, she may just need a different formula, but I'd deffinatley talk to my Doc befoer changing formula; with it so expensive, I'd hate to buy one only to have to buy another.
Good luck

Depending on her age- she needs to be burped every couple of ounces- pat her on the back and the air should come out- that will help get rid of the air bubbles that cause gas and spitting up-D
