In Kingdom Hearts?

Question

In he bigining of the first one, does it matter what thing you choose?
(the sword, magical thing, or shield)

If so, which is the best choice?

it makes a HUGE difference.

The Sword: boosts your strength (or HP cant remember which).

The Shield: will give you an extra ITEM SLOT (or Accessory Slot)

The Staff: gives you 1 extra MP

thus being said, the sword is a poor choice because both HP and Strength can be increased during the game by using HP Up's and Power Ups. HOWEVER no item in the game gives you an extra item/accessory slot same with that extra mp. So choose the staff or the shield.

and the 3 questions you're asked in the beginning also make a difference. If you choose the TOP answer for all 3 questions leveling up is easier for the first 50 levels. once you hit 50, leveling up becomes a pain. the MIDDLE 3 answers leveling up will be consistent throughout the game. if you choose the BOTTOM 3 answers getting to level 50 will be harder (but with all the bosses and storyline it evens out) but after that leveling up is cake.

so choose either the staff or the shield for the special bonus and the bottom 3 answers.

It matters...somewhat. If you chose the shield, defense will be your way of attacking, defense will be stronger, and defense lvl will go up quicker. This means that by lvl 30, you wont be able to do alot of damage, but nothing can do alot of damage on you either.


The sword is the same thing. Your strength willl go up quicly, and by lvl 30, you will be able to hit pretty high on most heartless, but strong heartless can hit pretty high on you too.

The "magical thing" (its a staff, just so you know) Raises magic quicker. I realy dont like this one, because by lvl 30, you can hit insanley high with magic, but you will only have like 20 mp, so you cant hit high for very long, also, once you run out of mp, your attack is too low to fight anything, and your defense is way to low to put up a fighting chance.

Its a give and take for everything, and its hard to say wich is the best. The one i chose was the sword, and i'm lvl 144 and i just beat the final boss of the game. I did the same thing in KH2 and i'm lvl 90 and almost finished with the game.When you have to get rid of one, definatly get rid of the staff

Each item boosts and/or sacrifices a different stat.

First Time:
Sword - Increases Strength and Attack Power
Shield - Increases Defense and Attack Reduction
Staff - Increases Intelligence, Mana, and Magic

Second Time:
Sword - Increases Defense and Intelligence - Reduces Strength
Shield - Increases Strength and Intelligence - Reduces Defense
Staff - Increases Attack Power and Defense - Reduces Magic Power

It really is your preference, but I usually go with the sword first and the staff second.

It matters if you are one to go into battle and fight all out or attack from a distance.

Sword: get this if you like to fight close combat. If you are one to run into a battle and fight all out, chhose this.

Magic: If you like to fight from a distance and don't like to get close to your foes, choose this. It is good for distanced combat.

Shield: If you get the sword, I would choose this as your secondary. I never found it very helpful, but it does come in handy in a few spots in the game.

Extra: if you collect all the puppies, there is a hidden video at the end.

I think that if you choose the 1st of every question it is harder to go up levels but if you choose the last chooice of everything ti is easy
