Yves Rocher is cruelty free, purely plant based. It has everything from skincare to make-up. It was started in France 20 years ago. Just go to their website.
Also check out Arbonne.
And visit The Humane Cosmetics Standard (HCS) web page. They are the expert on cruelty free cosmetics companies.

i.d. by bare minerals is great, it is made of grounded minerals. Not only is it really good for your skin but it is cruelty free, unless you consider the grinding of minerals cruel. The only problem with it is that is is pretty expensive, however it is well worth it.

Well...I consider cruelty-free to mean "no animal by products or animal testing."
If that's what you mean.......I recommend ARbonne.
They are 100% Vegan approved. All their products are botanically based, with no petrochemicals, no mineral oils, no animal byproducts or testing.
