I actually tested this once. On one of the regular sized tootsie roll pops, it took me near to a thousand licks to get to the center. Took at least an hour to do, too.

Never counted, but it would probably depend on the thickness of the tootsie pop and the size, what it was made of (if you mean any brand) and how strong your saliva was. 0_o
