I attend Keuka College, and the average tuition costs is 17 thousand a year...room and board you are looking at another 10 grand. Then there are other costs, such as technology fees, etc. which all add up. After applying for scholarships and FAFSA, TAP etc. I ended up with a grand total of a $3,500 dollar loan each year. My scholarships will last for 4 years, and then my masters year will not be covered. If you are looking to save costs I would tell you to look at living off campus (although many schools will take about 20% of your scholarship funds if you choose to do this). I hope that helps.

I went to Colorado State University and recieved a degree in zoology. It cost me $15,000 a year to go there and that's including classes, lab fees, books, room, board, internet service, etc. Keep in mind that if you go to a college that is in your home state, it's going to be a lot cheaper than if you choose a school that's out of state. A private school (even if it is in your home state, is going to be very expensive--sometimes upwards of $20,000 a SEMESTER! State schools/public schools are much cheaper and usually still offer a very excellent education). I would also recommend applying for financial aid even if you think you don't need it, it's always worth a shot and you may be surprised. That can really help a lot. Also apply for many, many, many scholorships (you can find scholorship sites online). These can take a significant chunk out of your bills even if a certain scholorship you win is only available for one semester of your schooling. Try to stay away from those nasty student loans as much as you can because they can take years to pay off.
I hope this helps.
