I have a vacation home in another country (NOT the USA) and there are little kids and annoying neighbors who come over to my house asking to borrow my stuff and begging for $$. I am thinking about putting one of the Electric Fence Chargers up around the perimeter of my property to electrifyand protect my property. Do you think it is a good idea? There are NO laws saying I cannot do it I have already checked with a lawyer in the town I am from. It is from a company called Kencove www.kencove.com and it 7,500 VOLTS..

They also sell one that has 100,000 volts of electricity..For about $100 more..

yeah go for it but first maybe explain to your neighbours that you want to be left alone and to go away. if they dont stop then put the fence up

Maybe a sign would be better. An electric fence is not really a very effective measure - and 7,500 volts is relatively meaningless in this applications as it might have exceptionally low amperage.

thats a cruel way to keep people of your property. if you dont want them comming to your house then tell them that. if you put up an electric fence then someone might get hurt. how would you feel if a little kid accidentally touched it and got seriously hurt. it can happen. if you really want to put up some kind of barrier put up a security wall sounds like you got enough money to build one since you have a vacation home in another country or plant a large hedge row to keep them out but dont use an electric fence their to keep animals contained not people
