Are you referring to Dan Brown, author of The Da Vinci Code? He has written other books. But even if he hadnt, his one 'poxy' box has sold millions, made him trillions and been made into a film.
Leonarda da Vinci was a genius. I suggest you google him to find out more.

One book ????????
Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci (April 15, 1452 – May 2, 1519) was an Italian polymath: architect, anatomist, sculptor, engineer, inventor, mathematician, musician, and painter. He has been described as the archetype of the "Renaissance man", a man infinitely curious and equally inventive. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest painters of all time.

You're more likely thinking of Leonardo de Capria - if he ever wrote anything. In any case, writing materials in da Vinci's time wasn't made for lasting a long time.

Er, excuse me - to what book exactly are we referring?? His book of inventions? Or perhaps you've never seen the Mona Lisa. Or maybe you think he's the author of 'The Da Vinci Code'???
