I just recently had a miscarriage in Nov. Now I am trying again to have a baby, preferably a "girl." The first day of my menstrual was December 13th and since then I have had intercourse on Dec. 22,23, 25th and 26th. Today I started having abdominal and back pain. Is it possible I could be preganant? What are my chances of conceiving a girl? When is the earliest I can take a home pregnancy test? Is the pain I am experieicing is just a sign of ovulation?

Sorry to hear about the miscarriage - unfortunately, it does not sound as if you are PG again. You may not even have ovulated yet since your last menses. You are probably now experiencing the pain of ovulation. If you do believe you are PG, do a home test 1 week after a missed menses.
BTW, weren't you advised to wait a few months before trying to conceive again?

You may be ovulating. It's too early to know, unless you were to have a blood test.

"Girl sperm" live longer, so you may have sex before you actually ovulate, and conception is still possible. If you were trying for a boy, I would tell you to time things to the exact time of ovulation for a better result.

I have one of each, and I am pretty sure that my girl was conceived just before ovulation. My son was conceived on the day of ovulation.

I hope that helps.

Depending on the length of your cycles you could be pregnant. Wait until you miss your period, or around that time and take a test. There isnt any way to "concieve" a girl, thats all in the hands of God. Best of luck!!!

Sounds like you could be, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! That E.P.T. test lets you find out sooner than any other test over the counter.

You can take a test as soon as 2 weeks after you think you concived.
