Institutions, such as the American government, have a tendency to enforce unreasonable levels of control on their public when they know they are about to lose it. This is why illegal wiretaps were conducted on thousands of unsuspecting American citizens. This is why AMERICANS have been tortured BY AMERICANS. This is why the American public was lied to, in order to justify an invasion of Iraq. The oil in Iraq is essential to America's ability to control it's own public, and other countries around the world. Oils is what drives their military machine, and the infrastructure of the American economy. Oil just happens to be the underpinning of our global civilization, and it's also responsible for the pending environmental catastrophe that threatens the survival of every living thing on this planet. Before you go nuts trying to defend your "country", consider the fact that life does not exist for the sake of civilization, but for the sake of it's self, and we will never escape that fact.

Well, once I have paid my obligations to my family such as going to work and paying my bills and then to society like taxes and obeying the laws of the land, I am pretty much free to enjoy life as I see fit. The government does not interfere with my personal happiness in the least. In fact, the government assists me in my pursuit of happiness. They build and maintain roads so I can travel about freely, they maintain security so I can feel relatively safe in my home and about, and they even have public lands which all Americans are free to enjoy if they wish.
No, America isn't perfect but can you explain why so many have risked their lives to get here? I can, it's still the best country on Earth to live in.

I do not feel "duped" at all.

I haven't been duped because I've known all along how corrupted they are. The war isn't going anywhere, we all know why they went in there. Weapons of mass destruction my butt. I'm 15 and I've been knowing this. At least they didn't use a bomb and kill thousands people like the government did in Japan. If they had all these weapons they would have used them already. Screw the government. In Illinois and the tolls are suppose to be paid but for some reason there are still tolls and the schools are in so much debt many are receiving block schedules and they are taking away all extra curriculars. This is bull. So basically screw this government and that monkey president Bush.

I have never felt duped because I did not vote for our current administration. I knew this was going ot happen and so did alot of other people. What influence the Bible has. Current administration really new how to use the Bible as a weapon of mass destruction. God would be ashamed. Our poor troops over there! My heart goes out to them '-)
