The true reason for life is the question of the ages and has no definitive answer. You create the reason for life through your experiences and by seeing others that are happy and content.

religion says that the reason for life is to be like God. Heathens say that the reason for life is to do everything that feels good. Where do you fall in line?

I think being happy is doing what you love. Money has very little to do with. Contentedness is what you should have on your death bed. Because when we are content there is nothing left to do in life but die. We always should strive to be better than we were the day before.

The jobs that offer the most meaning in life are the ones where we help other find their meaning in life.

Good luck noble soul...

What you are asking is a pretty hard question to answer because every man has the ability to understand or find out the truth in which everyone one of us call the truth. What is the true reason for life? As said, there is no true reason but the quest and adventure we set out for ourselves to follow. Of course, there will be some hard times but facing those help us understand more who we are and how we deal with the same situation the next time it happens. How can I be sincerely happy and content? It depends on what man wants and needs. The things you have and things you want, does not mean it will satisfy that happiness that is buried deep within your heart. People say love conquers all and is the highest into achieving whatever happiness we seek. Am I happy? I am neither happy nor sad, but also, I do not hate myself or this world for letting me enter this universe, this society. Enjoy life and if you decide to find out what truths you call "truths" that lie within you and nature, make sure to expand your theories or opinions and how you can achieve what goals you want to achieve. As said, enjoy whatever you enjoy and understand the things you want to understand...

By stating that you feel there is a real reason for life then you are also stating that you believe in the creation account.
If a person believes in the evolution of mankind from some single cell amoeba I could understand there being no purpose, just random chance.
But seeing as how we were created then there must be a purpose.
I believe within each of us is a desire to do something. Painting, writing singing, or helping others. There's this dream within you.
I have found that when I do the things necessary to answer the inner man then everything else just seems to fall into place.
Life without purpose is existence.
Life without meaning is existence.
Life without fulfillment is existence.

You have to find your own purpose in life and reason for living. If you do that...more than likely you will be happy/content. I have not been able to fulfill my purpose yet, so I am not completely content. I keep reminding myself that I have to remember that life is a journey and I should make the most of ALL of it, not just setting my sights just one goal, though.

God created you and gave you a purpose for this earth. If you don't know Him or never know Him, you will never be content on this earth or feel that you have a sense of purpose. I am a Christian and am content and do feel a sense of purpose. Life is hard, very hard and without the faith I have, I would have given up a LONG time ago. He loves you and has a plan for YOU and wants you to seek Him and find Him and He will reveal to you what He has created you to be.

I believe the true meaning of life is to give glory to God in all you do. My faith helps to be sincerely happy. I am human and not always content, but i can find peace in the fact that I know my plans aren't always what God has planned for me.

It's a matter of trust and faith

the true meaning of life is to live, and the only way you can be sincerely happy and content is to live life to its fullest without regret.

The reason for life is living. You choose how to do it and your decision is what makes it important or not. To be truly happy, you have to accept that life will never be perfect and if you want to be happy, you will just be happy regardless of everything else.

Yes! I am happy with what I have.I don't want for nothing! I set my standards real low, so that all I want is attainable.

Life has no reason. Life is to be lived and not questioned.

Reason is Life.
