I need to know the firing order for a 1970 Chevy Impala for a friends car. We can't seem to find it anywhere. The car is so old and greasy we can not see the markings on the engine. So if someone could give me a heads up on what the firing order should be, that would be a great help. Please dont recommend that I get a manual, because we are trying to do this off of pure knowledge. Up to this point we have been just fine. But the firing order seem to be off and we want to make sure that we are doing everything right the first time instead of finding more problems in the long run. Thanks too all you knowledgable people here on yahoo! Have a wonderful day, and Happy Holidays to all that reads this!

I'd call around and try to find a lawyer that handles such caes and only gets paid if they win the case bec they can check the courts and find out if any such cases exist already or in past against GM and also they can gain access to vital files that that the general public can't. Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way do your own home work not only of the situation but on the lawyer or firm you're interested in too. Personally I think that you've a great case but it will take time but you never do know once a good lawyer is involved if GM will settle out of court , plus keep in mind that the majority of such cases are in fact settled out of court.

Yahoo answers is similar to a manual. Forget your pride, even experienced mechanics use manuals. That's why they write them. So get a manual...
