Um, yes and no...
It can definitely cause your period to come late. It can also change the consistancy of your "flow" (more or less blood, although it's usually less), which could change the color. If it's darkened or lightened a tiny bit, I wouldn't be too worried, but if there's a dramatic change you might want to consider asking your doctor because it could be a sign of a more serious problem.

Yes it can cause to be late. As far as the color if it is a dark brown to a light brown this is old blood and normal. You can also have a light period of a pinkish color and this is normal too.

Stress can definitly cause your period to be late. As for the color, I'm not sure. What color was it? If it was a brownish color or darker than usual than youre fine. I don't know what other color it would be.

Stress can definitely affect all your hormones, and therefore change your cycle. As far as color of the blood, sometimes if it is older when it flows out it will be brownish.

It approach you have gotten an extraordinary cycle. it incredibly isn't any important deal. no longer all females get their era each and every 4 weeks on the dot, different than you're on the pill. i used to be consistently extraordinary till I went on the pill. in some situations there ought to be 6 or 7 weeks between them, which was high quality - did no longer get them as lots. And on condition that I wasn't having intercourse then, I knew i could no longer be pregnant. Of direction once you have a bf and having intercourse, this is one greater tale. you could communicate on your wellness care service approximately getting the pill to maintain watch over your cycle. that's what I do. i'm on the pill in any respect situations, regardless of if I even have not offered a bf to hold all of it consistent.
