I am looking to find a hobby to keep me entertained and hopefully make a little money too, even if only to keep my hobby going, however, making a little extra cash is always apreciated. I tried growing Venus Fly Traps once. I do want to get into growing and selling carnivorous plants, however, that takes time. Any Ideas on what could keep me interested and making money fast, even if only to keep up with the hobby's expenses?

If you like plants, I recommend aloe vera plants. You can never find them in the stores.
If you like art, I recommend hand painting glasswares.
If you like computers, make a website with the local traffic advisories, entertainment, etc...
If you like children, babysit at night.
If you like studying, type papers for college students.
If you like sewing, take in mending and do alterations, tailoring, etc...
If you like to recondition furniture, you could really make a bundle!
Caning chairs is a lost art.
These are just a few off the top of my head. Good luck!

A hobby is something that you do for fun, and that gives you pleasure. When you start doing that all day long, it's a job, and is not fun anymore. Most people I know do not make money with their hobby. People won't pay what you are worth because it is a "hobby" so doesn't cost you anything... so they say. They expect you to do this during "free time".

Some CRAFT - for sure. What can you do and what do you enjoy doing? How about:
- knitting (can sell little baby jumpers and socks, shawls, caps,
gloves, also table clothes, etc.)
- clay craft (some fancy irregular jugs, mugs, cups, saucers
+ make some individual and special writings on them
like "Michael and Jane, wed 11.11.06", or just names, or baby's
birth dates... or whatever people might ask you, even an
apology from a guilty boyfriend ;) )
- paintings, drawings (if you can paint and draw)
- some floristics pictures - like 4 sticks tied together, on them:
shells, rocks, dry leaves, ANYTHING, but keep to one theme, in
my country it's very popular)
Well, if I have any more ideas, I'll come back here. :)
