When you shave...face, legs, thighs, etc....you should always shave with the direction of the hair growth rather than against it.

When you shave against the hair direction, you only "think" you are shaving closer, but the hair stubble regrowth feels much rougher and sharper as it grows out. That makes shaving again necessary sooner. You also tend to get more razorburn problems.

When you shave with the direction of hair growth, you get a smoother shave, less sharp stubble, and fewer razor burn problems.

I shave against the hair. It removes the hair better on your legs.

I think I normally shave against it. In my underarm area I have to shave both ways, though, as the hair grows in different directions.

Usually shaving against it is going to give you the best results, but go slow so you don't cut yourself or irritate the skin!

well, my ex girlfriend only shaved one way so i know the answer id think

if you shave with it meaning down(this is also true with facial hair, with me anyway)

then if you move your hand UP, it prickles

but if you shave against it, it dosnt prickle, but its still not the closest shave (id think)

you should do shave against it, or shave down, reapply shavin cream (or whatever) then shave up

Go down the leg, not up, to prevent ingrown hairs. But, most girls go up.
