My 'first time' went really bad today. We're both virgins and ready to do this. Foreplay went really great, I put the condom on. Then I wasn't sure where exactly to 'put it', but after some trying we both worked out which place to put it in. However, it only went in about a 1/4 of the way and then kind of hit a barrier. Is this normal? Do I have the right 'hole'? And how can I make it better in future?

Yes, this is normal. Your girlfriend will be tight and may find it uncomfortable at first. She needs to be very relaxed and there will be resistance until her hymen is broken. Just take it gently and slowly and it will get better.

Oh, yes, lubricants help too. Make sure you use proper sexual lubricants though, not just Vaseline or something.

You need to make sure that you are both relaxed. If she is tense then it won't go in, and you will have to force it. Tell her this, because it will go a lot easier and smoother. If you have trouble again, you may want to use a lubricant for a bit just until you get used to it and she loosens up a bit. But I think if she just relaxes, you will be fine :)

This is very normal. I think all 1st times are a little rough. Just take it slow and use a lubricant if need be. Things are kind of tight down there and need to be broke in slowly. Once your in though you are golden! Have fun and good luck next time!!
