Maybe because his girlfriend is jealous and told him not to talk to you

I agree with Daniel L...you're probably just feeling jealous since you got used to more attention before when he still hasn't met the girl...so now you're kind of jealous... if you're really a true friend, you'll ignore your jealousy because deep inside you believe that your friendship is more stronger than you may think..If you are a true friend, you won't demand attention and you should understand what's between him and the new girl, you should give way. If he's also a true friend to you, he won't ever forget about you, trust me. Just stay some distance because he might get turned off with you if you get jealous and insist yourself to spend more time with him than the girl he's interested in...keep the faith! If it bothers you that much and its already affecting your daily life, then try to find time and talk to him seriously and open up, I'm sure he'll understand if you say the right words and not sound too eager...goodluck...=)

Sounds to me like maybe he is afraid that his new girlfriend may not understand you're friendship, that she may become jealous, and he really is attracted to her. The best advise that I can offer is to step back a little, and maybe get to know her. If you don't push to hard maybe the three of you will wind up friends.

Suggest going to the movies for all three of you to do together. Tell your guy friend that you miss hanin' out, be honest. Suggest to him that would like to do activities with both of them so the three of yoou can hang out.

He is really into her and she probably doesn't want you around as they get to know each other better. Give them some space and some time. You'll still be friends.

BeaglesRo has the good answer. I don't have enough points to vote, but yeah, two thumbs up for that answer

He probally is really into this chick and at the moment he wants to concentrate on her. Give him time the relationship is new to him and he is spending his time on her.

you are a threat to his girl friend - and he doesn't want to cause any problems with her. i'd stay away, if he is that insecure that he has to stay away from a friend - he never was a friend.

If your a girl it is because he sees more in her than you...if your a guy...certainly he should naturally want to pay more attention to his dolly than you...that is, unless he is bi.

It will pass, just give it some time and he'll come around.
