Why if you are asking our citizens to put their lives at risk wouldn't you let them effectively do their job? If you are going to invade a country and you know that Sunni and Shiite supporters are going to send insurgents to inforce their numbers, why aren't we securing the boarders? Why are people like these Iranian officials allowed to come into the country? If you're going to do this, DO IT RIGHT!!!! If we need more soldiers to adequately get the job done than get on national television and tell us that!! I would much rather send an adequate # of troops to succeed in this mission than to not have enough of them and put them in harms way only to come home in bodybags because they are outnumbered! SECURE THE BOARDERS!!! If you had implemented the appropriate amount of miltary personnel from the beginning to secure the boarders and keep the insurgents from coming into Iraq the Iraqi government might have been able to police them themselves by now!!

Haven't you figured it out yet? Bush doesn't listen to his advisers, he ignores his generals, pays no attention to the commanders on the ground in Iraq and he clearly shunned the American voters on November 7. He's pig-headed, ignorant and myopic. He's the "decider" and doesn't want to hear anything from anyone unless it is consistent with his viewpoint. The rhetoric has changed but his "stay-the-course" strategy hasn't wavered by one iota. Right or wrong--and I think it's safe to say he's wrong--he'll continue with his Iraq strategy until he's impeached. And that's just around the corner.

When we do not enforce the laws we already have, or correctly use the military power we already have, why is the solution just more of the same (more laws and more military)? Sounds like another "chase your tail in a circle" appraoch.

Bush has been like a blind man in a china shop as far as Iraq goes. As far as telling us what's going on in Iraq, I think he has told us everything he knows, which is not much.
