I am British and my future wife is Vietnamese. We met in the USA and we are planning for the wedding reception in Ho Chi Minh City. Can anyone advise good or bad experiences or were you recommend to go to. Of course we would like a good experience, but our budget is low. Any advice or help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

The subculture in Saigon is extremely quickly paced and capitalistic. purely approximately each and every abode alongside a hectic street helps a keep on the 1st floor with the vendors living above. (VN is a rustic of shop keepers). There are museums, parks and enjoyment/water parks for the greater youthful human beings, The Opera abode and auditoriums for concert activities, large eating places and maximum of all, a pair of million cafes the place human beings take a seat after paintings to speak and drink coffee, tea, beer, ect. Saigon is unquestionably a 1st class city with a superb form of issues to do and notice. (in spite of the incontrovertible fact that I choose my sleepy little village to the hustle and bustle of Saigon.)

If your future wife has relatives in HCMC I would contact them and let them arrange most of the reception. They would know the most reasonable places. Pacific Beer Garden might be a good place to consider. Good tasting cheap beer and reasonably priced food and it is big in size. We did our wedding reception in Hue and it was still expensive outside the big city. Good luck, cheers.

Don't say "LAAHDAY MOW " like someone here suggested. That means Come here quik, not Give me a kiss. To ask your wife for a kiss, say "Hôn anh đi".
