Ok so my friends and i are performing the song pressure by Paramore, for the school talent show. I'm singing most of the song. I'm an ok singer but i mean for the talent show i shouldn't be singing. I'm going 2 sing anyway but does anyone have any advice on practicing singing?? thanks!

Drink plenty of water days before the event to help keep your throat clear. The best thing to do is practice! Make sure your breathing in air deeply so that your stomach sticks out a little, it will give you more air when you sing, also make sure to stand up straight while practicing the breathing.

Try singing without any music to keep track of how your voice sounds. You can also try to sing with the music really low and do the same.

It is a school talent show, so confidence will go a long way. Just be confident that you are an "ok" singer and you'll do fine.

Record yourself singing and play it back a couple of times to see which parts you are having trouble hitting. When you do that, just go back over the parts that need work. Good luck!

Do warm ups and then practice to the cd.

practice along with the song, but dont try to imitate it....do it in your own style, and get up there and do the best you can...be open to critisism...and good luck....
