I use it to communicate with friends, play games, look up recipes, do my shopping, find phone numbers,homework help, keep track of sports, keep track of stock markets just in case I ever get some money.

Research, always looking up some point about history, literature, movies, etc.
Also some forums, mail, some games. 10 years ago I couldn't imagine caring about the internet, now I hate days that I'm not on it.
