That is a pretty open question - I would start by reading this here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princeton_University and looking at there admissions policies http://www.princeton.edu/main/prospective/

Good Luck!!!

A vague question, but since I'm a Canadian studying at Princeton so I feel compelled to say a few words:
In more recent years, the admissions office has focussed more and more on academic performance (i.e. GPA, IB/AP, etc.), so that is by far probably the most important factor in your application.
That is not to say that extracurricular activities, etc. are not important. However, it's better to have depth in a selection of activities (i.e. devoted many years and many hours/week to them) than to lightly skim over numerous activities. Your ultimate aim in these activities should be to enjoy/develop/enrich yourself, not just to get into a university (Sometimes admission officers can tell by the pattern!)
The acceptance rate for early decision (about 50%) is WAY WAY higher than for regular decision (less than 10%) though it is true that ED is also more competitive. But if you get in via early, then you are bound to enrol in the university. However, the university (together with Harvard) is getting rid of the early decision, so, tough luck, all future applications will only be considered in the regular decision pool.
If you are invited for an interview, go for it! It's an excellent opportunity to ask questions about the university and to show your interest/passion for the university.
Other than that, just be yourself on your application; you hardly want your essays and your recommendation letters to paint inconsistent pictures about you!
If you have a chance, you should visit the campus and talk to alumni/students/admissions officers and ask them questions. Sit in on lectures. Especially during the spring or autumn months, the campus is beautiful!

1. Find something you love and can be passionate about, and pursue it. Don't feel limited by your age, means, time, whatever -- there is always a way.
2. Visit the university at some point to learn more about it!
3. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/forumdisplay.php?f=31 is a great message board where you can ask current students, parents, and alumni questions as well and find loads of information on anything you want to know about Princeton.
4. http://www.princeton.edu/pr/pub/sg This is a student guide, written by students for students. It'll give you a great idea about what being a student at Princeton will be like.

very cool! well, here's some tips. Get straight A's, and take as many advanced classes as you can at your school. Get involved in as many clubs as you can handle. What you may also want to do is find something you love doing, and pursue that to the top. For example, a friend of mine (she ended up going to USC and is the star twirler there, but she got into Princeton) went through the highest level of competition for baton twirling. And THAT took commitment. But you gotta remember, Princeton is harder to get into than USC or UC Berkely. I think one university which may be near the level of Princeton is California Institute of Technology. It's a miracle if someone gets into CalTech, to put it simply. Best of luck!

All that I can say is that do the very best that you can on the SAT's, get better than a 4.0, and do as many extra-curricular activities as you can (and try to do them well). It's a tough school to get into, but it's still possible. Good luck! = )
