What do you do when you are waiting to return or exchange that gift?

Aside from staring at my fingernails and smacking my lips together, I pass my tongue on my teeth and make sure they are smooth (if they are not I make a mental note to brush as soon as heavenly possible), I play with the hair behind my ears, the curl always bounces back and when all that fails....
I start count my blessing, I think of all the things i could be thankful for that people don't have like fresh water, decent clothes, food, functioning limbs, eyesight, looks, nice teeth, hair on my head, warmth, a place to rest my head ...
I think of people lying in hospital beds who might dying, having a baby. I think of people who have health insurance and what they do when they are sick, I say a very small simple prayer of thanks.
I think of people who are lonely and hope they know they have God interfering.
The list is endless and before I know it, its my turn!! It always manages to plant a big smile on my face when I see the attendant and for the rest of the day.

Wish I was anywhere but there. Watch people. Go over in my mind all the things I have to do. If I know ahead of time that I have to go stand in a line, I bring a small book with me and read while I stand. I try to plan to bring a book with me to read whenever I go anywhere that I know I'll have to wait: the doctor's office, the dentist's office, etc. I hate being bored!

I dont really stand in lines to exchange or return gifts..but if im doing regular shoping at the mall or grocery store I always have my psp, and i always have my phone!

I don't return gifts. But if I'm in any kind of line (Grocery store, bank etc.) I usually strike up a conversation with the person in front of me, or the person behind me.

I dont return gifts
. BUT when I am at the grocery store, out shopping or whatever either I people watch, look around to see have I forgotten anythnig, look to see what the person in front of me bought or read one of the magazines they tell you not to read....

I listen to conversations and watch people without them knowing.
If I have to exchange something I'll have a nose around to see what I want.

Well try making fart noises whn people are just a little away from you. Thats what my 30 year old dad does.(PS IM 9)
