I'm not on the pill but am flying to Australia on thursday night and am due in the next couple of days - don't much fancy having to deal with it on a 28 hour flight!

Is there any natural remedies that would work?

Before I started taking the Pill, I went to my GP every time I was due to go on holiday and my period was due, he used to prescribe a hormone tablet to take for the whole time of the holiday which just delayed my period until I got back. Once I got back I stopped taking it and my period would start a day or two later, it works great.

i know that you can get these series of pills that delays it for as long as you take them (so if you're going on holiday this is a good idea) but i really can't remember what they're called...crap. But yeah i know you can get them in local chemists theyr'e not prescription drugs, but i think it MAY be too late because i think you have to take them a week before. Sorry =S.

Well either way, just take some tampons on your flight and have a lovely time in Australia =) x

Just go on the pill, get it tom and after a day or two your periods shouldnt start, then when your back from hol, either carry on taking it (for safety) or stop taking it but you might screw up your periods a bit and you might come on again sooner than a month.

Doctors recommend a diaphragm for short term use like 4 hours, but other than that, there is nothing you can do
