When I was pregnant w/ my son, the nausea that I experience was very, very mild. It was more of an intensified sense of smell and as long as I left the situation, I was fine (and this only happened a couple of times).
The only other times I've ever been nauseated, other than a 24 hour stomach virus, was due to h-pylori that I had earlier in the year. Even that was very mild and only right after I ate.
I have 5-6 days until my period is due so I don't think a test would be accurate at this point but I have been nauseated for a little over a week. Each day it seems to get worse and worse. Isn't that a little early to start being nauseated (smells bothering you, etc)?
Can there be any other causes for nausea lasting a week plus (I'm not taking any medicatiions)? Thanks

Yeah, I have been dizzy (but not due to gas, I don't have that in my home or work). It may just be my blood pressure, it tends to run low so this is nothing new for me.

I also have recent headaches and have been very tired/ sleepy.
(These two things are what prompted me to take the pregnancy test during my last pregnancy.)

I always get a little nauseous before my period. But not until after I had my first baby. I also get really sick feeling when I am anemic (lack of iron in the blood). I am prone to it so I know what it feels like. Hope that helps, and good luck!

Yes, it is too early for pregnancy related nausea. I had the same thing with my daughter -- smells bothered me. If i couldn't smell anything, my stomach was fine.
It could be a very mild case of the flu...there, kind of hanging on, but not bad enough to cause vomiting.
I did not have even mild nausea with pregnancy until i was close to a month to six weeks along....
Rarely, nausea can be the sign of a more serious condition. If you can't keep down any food or liquid, or just have a complete, sudden loss of appetitie, call a doctor.

There can be a number of reasons- but the best way to find out is by going ahead and going to the doc. and letting them exam ya over. Maybe you're getting another bug that is causing it- but you every well could be pregnant. Good luck.

you could be reaction to something are eating or drinking on a daily basis. Maybe you should also check for gas leaks, if you have gas. If you are also having headaches, then you definitely need to test for a gas leak. Any dizziness or light headiness?

i don't know...maybe you're gonna be a mommy again, and your body is telling you early.
in my first pregnancy, i wanted to quit smoking a week before i started getting suspicions about pregnancy.
wierder things could happen.

go buy a test and take it next week if you miss your period.

Some common causes are seasickness and other motion sicknesses, early pregnancy, intense pain, exposure to chemical toxins, emotional stress (fear), gallbladder disease, food poisoning, indigestion, various viruses, and certain smells or odors.

Anxiety. Seriously - when I start to panic attack, I get nauseated and sometimes even vomit. I also get slightly nauseated when I am PMS'in. For me, it's totally stress.
