I have exchanged the mouse with another one which is working on another PC, but it is still not working. Any help?

If you're using USB, then try some different USB ports. If you're using PS/2 (The green one), then try and update your drivers, or buy a USB mouse..

You did not mention if this was a native USB or PS/2 mouse. The PS/2 mice have a circular plug with several pins inside the end piece/plug. The USB mouse type has well, a USB port.
Anyway, most pc's will run the PS/2 mouse without additional drivers -- using the native Windows drivers. USB mice tend to require additional drivers. If you have not installed them, do so and it should be fine OR purchase a USB to PS/2 adapter and just plug it in.
Good luck!

Difficult to say with so little information. At a guess, you're using a USB mouse, in which case it could be the USB drivers.

Ensure that other USB devices work correctly, and if they don't then install the correct drivers for your system (Mac OS X, Windows). If you're using Linux, then ensure the USB modules are compiled.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
