My nephew had a cleft lip and cleft palate. He has had a surgical operation to purpose and terrific suited it yet has no longer been in a position to drink from a bottle. he's fed by a tube it quite is administered by his nostril. The feedings take approximately an hour apiece. with any luck your toddler's isn't as extreme. The docs had him nursing from a bottle for some weeks yet my nephew grew to become into dropping weight so they had to pass decrease back to feeding him by a tube. good good fortune!

if you are living in the uk there is a site called clappa
www.clappa.org im not sure if its avalible in other countries i have a child with a cleft palette also

Try http://www.medela.com/NewFiles/specialtyfdg.html, they do a feeder for babies with facial or oral problems. You might find it in a store (unlikely) - I think they call it a Habermann feeder.
