they talk to you and they are looking you in the eyes and when you talk back to them they are looking all over the place and not paying any attention to what your saying.
how about this one-there on the phone with you,they talk on and on for 5 to 10 minutes and it's all about what they want to talk about.Then when they are finally done talking,you talk for 30 seconds and it's all about them again for 5 to 10 minutes.

I do have a friend like that actually and it gets way annoying...What I do is pretend like I have to get off the phone...Or sometimes I'll just jump in and talk about whats going on in my life...If they have a problem well they aren't good friends.

sounds like they have a listening problem.. it is self fish.. and not very enjoyable for those around them.. i had a pal like that once.. and it ended up with us not being friends anymore.. there needs to be two sides to a relationship.

Tell the person that it's their turn to listen and be charasmatic...the person probably want to be a friend, but can't slow down enough to listen.

it could be ADHD/ADD, but it could also be utter disrespect. sounds like someone who loves to hear him-/herself talk, as well as someone who is interested in something else. personally, people like that annoy me.
