I'm with Roxie. The dean's list is cool. Being on the Harvard or Princeton dean's list is cooler. Ditto on the major. Communications, not so good. Political Science with a B.S., better. But any degree is better than no degree. And the dean's list is nice to add to a resume. What will get you the job is how you present your resume and self in person and how you wow them in the interview. Work on that and you won't go wrong.

Being on the Dean's list is a great accomplishment. Congratulations! But to be honest with you, your future employers will probably only care whether or not you graduated. No one will check on such things as whether or not you made the Dean's list.

Well, if you are on the deans list from Princton it will certainly look better then if you are on the list from a communitiy college. It will also depend on what classes you were taking...if you major in basket weaving it won't look as good as if you were majoring in Astrophysics.

yeah it matters, some schools are more difficult than D.C.C.C. Most employers aren't too concerned as lots of stuff is considered but to do well at a prestigious place looks good.

As long as its an accredited school, it really doesn't matter. If it's a prestigious school it will be a lot more respected.

Nah, it doesn't matter. It won't matter that much on your resume either that you're on it either but at least it is something.
