the sims 2?

I lost the cd to my to the expansion pack (the sims 2 nightlife) and i want to take it off my computer, but I to keep the regular sims on there, without taking it off at the same time. Does anyone know how to do this???

There is only one way I know how but your sims will lose all relationships with there neighbours. First go to the houses of your sims and delete any reference to nightlife, ie clothes, objects,driveways,caes etc. Then upload the sims to a file. Uninstall Nightlife and then double click on the file. This should work in theory.
