i love animals i love dogs!

I love all animals but my favorite is a dog. Specifically American pit bull terriers. Because even though alot of them have been raise and treated poorly they are eternally loyal and faithful to us. They are one of the only dogs that can take a beating a full grown man could not, and would still turn around a lick the hand that beat them.

Over the years I had 3 dogs, Goldy; who just adopted me when I was working on a house in Washington; he was my first, and he was so big I wasn't sure whether he was a German Shepard or a wolf. His coat was like the color gold, after he moved on, just like he moved in, I picked up a black lab. Bullet, because he took off like a shot whenever I let him off his leash. He moved out with some gal I met. She thought she needed him more then me.
Then a 3/4 greyhound & 1/4 Russian Wolfhound, she had tiny black spots on one side of her face and even color on the left.
I think she trained me on how to address her when I wanted her to sit, stay, and heal.
I was heartbroken when the pound forced me to turn her over. They could not catch her fair and square, Any way, she needed the open country; the letter I got from the new owner claimed she got it.
How strange, I can't seem to recall what I called her.
But I sure feel how I felt back then.
After she went to a ranch near Havre, MT to live out her youth. I moved on and checked out Liberal, Kansas. Never felt so empty and cheated until I made that trip.
Five years later, a strange day occurred. I accepted a kitten, Irish, the reddest male cat I had ever seen. Cherry blond, almost..
Then Marvel, a black and white swirled colored male; Spook & Sparky, both white barn cats, and the last one I called Topcat because he would fight for my lap with Sparky until they both landed on one side to nap while I watched Jeopardy. He died after 14 years. He outlived all the others.
They actually were more like friends.
