People were it's predators. It's been dead for a little while now. The stink even wore off. Other such tigers were also predators. They killed the young just like today's cats. What is a lion's predator? It is possible that a snake could have been a predator, but I doubt it. The temps didn't support snakes for too long during the tiger's time on terra firma.

What WERE the predators.....the cat is exctinct. when it was alive it was on the top of the food chain. Not too much had the moxy to go after a one ton cat. Mostly it was people that went after it.

Obviously anything bigger than the cat that was a predator... If there were none that you know of, you could say parasites and possibly diseases or bacteria that could kill the animal and use it's remains to feed off of and live.
