I can't think of one of the top of my head where there's a male cross-dresser, but one with a female is Siri Hustvedt's The Blinfold. It's a really great book in itself. I don't know about any gay teenage books, but for adults Sarah Waters is really good...and Jeanette Winterson.

when i saw this i thought you were looking for something else.

well, any way a good book, novel about the whole issue is Passing Go by Libby Purves

It's not a fantasy at all, but it's very touching, and warm and funny at some points.

Did you google or look at amazon.com?

Boy2Girl by Terence Blacker

You might also investigate Japanese anime and manga, since there are quite a few stories featuring men dressing as women, and featuring gay romance.

Reading the book instead of observing the movie is the best way to see what the author meant. Reading uses your imagination, hones your reading skills, and can make your vocabulary
