you know the oragne filters have like yellow or off white spots on them and it aggervates me that i dont know! just wandering? there normally found on "Full Flavor" no menthol or anything like that, (usually)

Give the 10 to number 3. Before the advent of fiberfill used in filters, Cork was used, and it's natural aspect looks similar to the "paper" wrap on Cig filters now a days.
Cork makes better bottle stoppers, but even at that there are only 2 places on the planet where cork is natural in it's environment, hence being more scarce as evolution finds uses for it. You might notice other substances now being used to "Cork" wine bottles.

I always thought they were designed to resemble the tobacco inside the cigarettes.
