4 hours after having sex.But Viagra has bad side effects like bluish vision and high blood pressure. My doctor told me If used at too young of and age could become dependent on them for life. Believe me don't fool with Viagra until you need them when you are much older like 50+

Not really, however it MAY shorten the time between erections. Mainly, it enhances a the quallity of a guy's erection. If you were firm before Viagra will make it hard, if hard it will become rock hard...if it was rock hard before, Viagra will give you blue steel....whew. Also make you last longer too. Much of the enhancement though is lost on younger guys who really don't need much if any help. Don't listen to the naysayers who say it will kill you etc....the main side effect is facial flushing and nasal congestion and some lowering of blood pressure. If you are having E D problems this stuff is a miracle. Viagra hits you pretty hard and wears off after 4-5 hours. Cialis works MUCH longer like 12-24 hours and is more gentle - the side effects are also less noticeable. Most, but not all guys can drink at least a couple of drinks, but some get headaches.....

Viagra is not useful for re-obtaining an erection after ejaculation. It is useful for men with erectile dysfunction....inability to obtain and/or maintain a normal erection. Does it work? Absolutely, otherwise it wouldn't be such a popular prescription for men 45+, especially smokers who have ED problems due to cardiovascular disease. Most people that report blue vision, headaches, and other unpleasant side effects are simply taking too large a dose. Those unpleasant things disappear if they cut the dosage by half or even more. Even the lowest dosage of Viagra is often too strong not to give the side effects.
I hope that I never need to rely on Viagra...I'd have to give up my nickname....Kickstand.

I use both Viagra and Cialis....
Viagra I have found is good for one shot generally...and it makes my heart race about as fast as a race horses. I use it for a quickie..LOL
Cialis can generally cause several erections even after ejaculation for up to about 36 hours. It does give me one hell of a headache though the next day unless I eat after taking it. I made the mistake of drinking a beer after taking Cialis...my advice..DON'T!! I thought the top of my head was going to blow off.
With either Viagra or Cialis they recommend no alcohol and if you have an erection lasting 4 or more hours you need to get to a doctor fast.
Hope this helps.

I think it varies. For me, never more than 10-15 minutes and most of the time, not at all. I think post-ejaculation erections of any considerable length of time are rare. I agree with the other folks who answered, check with your physician. If you get the okay from the doc, it can be a good thing. A very good thing, indeed.

Viagra is a vasodillator which means it constricts the blood vessels in your penis, which in turn lets you have a longer lasting erection. There is one draw back Viagra is a prescription only drug and is only prescribed to persons suffering from ED Erectile Dysfunction. Also taking Viagra if you have a heart condition is also a no no.
