My guess is that it's a ginger-ale or a bloody mary... why does everyone drink those drinks on a plane and never anywhere else?

I confess I'm one of the people that order a ginger-ale, I don't have a clue as to why I do it....lol

LOL. I never drink bloody mary's....on or off a plane! Generally I do have a sprite or ginger ale, and I do drink them when I am not travelling. I think it's because coffee is a diuretic and who wants to keep going to the bathroom on a plane? And coke is too sweet, it makes me even more thirsty, and brings me back to the bathroom issue. Also, if there is turbulence, and my cup gets jostled, I don't have to worry about a stain so much!

I get ginger-ale....and yes you're right. I only drink it on a plane. I think I just like the way it sounds.

You are right about Ginger Ale ... it's a tasty soda without the dehydrating qualities of caffeine.
Otherwise, Diet Coke.

I like the sound of 'complimentary'..Such a nice word for 'free', isn't it? That word doesnt go with a drink on any flights I have had in the last few years!

I am very bad with drinks on the plane, something in a bottle so I won't spill it..I love flying it's just being so darn close to strangers that bugs me...

Bloody Mary, for some reason, it hit's the spot when you're flying. I do however order them in other places, like a late breakfast or brunch. After all, it's the breakfast of champions!

I usually get Pepsi. It's not my favorite drink but when I'm on a plane, I just always get Pepsi.
