I'm currently a Sky subscriber but I've been given a Sky+ box (lucky me!) and I want to know what my best options are. I currently have a standard subscription but with the Sports channels as well. Any bright ideas?

Thanks.

I don't think you pay anything extra - the only difference between Sky and Sky+ is the hardware.

We have Sky+ and pay £36 per month for the standard package plus the movie channels. The Sky+ was a one off payment of £99 for the box.

I suppose it is possible that Sky might have to know that you have a Sky+ box so that they can do something magical at their end to enable the box to work... but chances are it's just a change of hardware.

Connect the box up and find out! Isn't there some sort of card in your Sky box that you can just switch to the Sky+ box?

Yes, you'll have to transfer the subscription to your name, But you can get a Sky dish and box with installation free on the basic packages now.

you ought to have no subject as long as Sky sign in your new card on your new Sky+ field. such as you reported you wont have the skill to checklist one watch yet another till you have a suited set as much as place 2 lines in from the dish. wish it enables..
